Hi all,
it's been rather a bad week for us, but especially for my mom. Last week, she fell in a hole and broke her foot. she couldn't hardly walk on it for a week, and the doctor just put a cast on it today. we were hoping he'd put a walking boot on it, like h e did her other foot that she broke in 3 places several years ago. Now he says he'll try to put a walking cast on it in 3 weeks, the operative word being, try"So could you' all pray that he can put the walking cast on in 3 weeks, and her foot heals quickly. She broke both her foot and her ankle, and its 6 weeks for the foot, and 2 weeks for the ankle, which means 8 weeks altogether before it's completely healed. Thanks,

thanks rd freak. Mom has always been the organizer around here, plus its difficult for her having to sit so much, but she has my little traveling chair we use when I go somewhere like the bookstore, and she can use her foot to push it around, so that helps some. I have a basket on my walker, and also a deep bag for putting things in, so I'm able to bring her small things, snacks and a can of co ca co la. Thanks for the e best wishes,

Is there any news yet, Wonderwoman?
Not yet, she goes back to the doctor june 20th. she called the clinic twice about the burning in her foot, but all they say is, keep ice on it, keep it elevated, nurses, sheesh, they're no help at all. Thanks so much folks, I really appreciate your kind words.
